Lavender House Care Home in Peterborough opened in 1992 offering a high standard of residential care for the elderly.
From the moment you enter Lavender House it is hard not to appreciate the homely and friendly atmosphere that is the very essence of daily life at the home. We encourage maximum independence and choice within the home and ensure that each individual’s needs are understood and met.
The home is set in a leafy suburb of Peterborough, yet benefits from a superb location situated within 10 minutes walking distance of the town centre and 5 minutes from Peterborough Central Park.
Lavender House is a residential registered care home. The home consists of 35 bedrooms, most with private en-suite. Most bedrooms are on the ground floor. Excellent communal spaces including three lounges and a separate large dining room offer a superb standard of living.

When admitting all new residents we have a strict 14 day bedroom isolation policy. Plus we have a regular covid-19 test regime for residents and staff. We have procedures in place depending on the outcome of the test to ensure the safety of our residents and staff.
Lavender House is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
