Types of care
Residential Care:
Our Residential Care Homes provide and environment for individuals
who are finding it difficult to cope with day – to – day
activities at home or who need more help with personal care. In a residential
care home setting you will find like – minded people who can
generally make informed decisions and who can be supported by a team
of dedicated care staff.
Nursing Care:
Our Nursing Care Homes provide the same type of environment as our
residential care facilities only a qualified nurse is on duty 24
hours a day. A nursing home is generally more suited to individuals
who have higher care needs.
Dual Registered Homes:
A home that is dual registered offers both nursing and residential
care. This type of environment may be more suited to an individual
whose level of care may change in the near future. In a dual registered
home an individual will benefit from trained nurses 24 hours a day.
Dementia Care:
The most common mental deteriorations in older people are those related
to Dementia related conditions such as Alzheimer’s. Although
